(Pink Rain Tree Flowers)
my grand friend, those look
good on you. i did not know
you wore flowers in your
crown every now and then
having known and adored
you all my life, who knew you
could still surprise me so
much? wild pink starbursts
with hearts of snow white
your exuberance fills the sky
tiny tufty fireworks blooming
through the dark cloth of
your canopy. True King of
the Rainforest, if anybody
feels they can’t be both
mighty and majestic, I will
show them to you.
