Dear friends,
Writing is not easy, but if I am to call myself a writer, I must write.
Therefore, in the spirit of building a writing habit, I’ve decided to spend a little bit of time every week (perhaps no more than an hour) to write.
During these writing sessions, I won’t be endeavouring to write masterpieces. Instead, I’ll simply be showing up, sharing what has been on my mind that week, editing that and publishing it. I figured that that sounded easy enough, so I’m willing to give it a try.
Specifically, I intend to write about deep ecology: the perspective that humankind and the greater natural world are inseparable and deeply entangled.
In these Eco.musings, I will try to explore answers that I have come across to the following question:
How can humanity live in deeper harmony with the rest of nature, so that human societies and the wider tree of life can flourish together?
I hope you will join me on these eco-adventures on Eco.musings.
With joy,
Julian
